Acrylics on 14” X 18” stretched canvas.

:no:Not that Venice, but Venice in L.A, California that is
Done from my photo taken last December, I have "removed" all Xmas decorations on the houses=D

Being scared of painting trees and foliage, I never attempted to do landscape. Recently, inspired by many fine landscape artists here on DA, I decided to face the task. This is in essence my real first landscape. :phew: It was a challenge, at the same time a struggle with so much foliage:D But I’m happy to have finished it:dance: Hope you like it too:pray:

All comments and critique are welcome for my growth. Thank you  also :thanks: to those for just looking:wave:

You dit it very well! Colours are awesome:sun: and the composition is interresting! Perhaps, if I can say, the reflection of the white boat is a little bit too strong;but that is only my opinion and I am very classic; so don't take care about it....:sun:

Thank you very much for your critique. You got a point there regarding the white reflection. I will check my original work to see how it looks in real life. By the way, are you an art teacher?
