A post card I once received, has 4 girls on it. Each of the three girls on the left of the post card, holds a birdcage while the fourth girl on the right does not. I changed the composition by removing one girl and "gave" her bird cage to the fourth girl

To fill up the space of the "missing girl", I added the chinese character in the middle, at the top of the painting. It means Luck

This is old work, done during my lab painting class at the local community college. I had posted it, when I first joined DA. But the photo was crooked, so I deleted it and now updated with the new photo I recently took. I felt tempted to rework on this piece since my taste has changed. But on second thought, I just leave it as is, so that I could see my growth.
