Acrylics on 11”X14” canvas
I fell in love with the painting of Chinese artist Jiang C.Yi. I mostly copied the model’s pose and her flute, for I did not want to stress over her likeness and her multi-flower printed dress. This is my simple interpretation of the painting [link] ….Hope you like it despite the shine on the right side
Hey Noodlequeen, what is ? I have seen that sometimes and still don't know what that is. Thank you for your support But why can't you get acrylics to blend? I now love painting in acrylics more than oil for it is so easy... to clean up
Aww, thank you Nancy. You seem to like blue, for you mentioned that before in one of my other paintings. I left out so many details seen in the original painting because it was tiring to copy detail after detail, so I just did not bother. Then, I was not sure if it worked with a more simple touch. I am glad you like it
