Xiongmao is mandarin chinese word for panda. We often see pandas with just two black patches for the eyes. Here I “reveal” this panda’s cute little eyes to show this xiongmao in relaxed and daydreaming mood
 Photo ref comes from Wikipedia. Photo here was taken with my brand new camera which I still do not know how to use. The time should have been at 2 :30PM instead. Colors are a little off here with less green for the background and too dark for the fur  But this is the closest to the real thing.Watercolors on Arches 300lb CP paper 9” X12” |
