Watercolors on 9" X 12" Arches 300lbs CP watercolor paper.
Done from photo a friend had sent me.

This is another depiction of a young mother toting her child on her back, just a quick work, since I did not like to labor over the beautiful intricate designs of her outfit.
The girl's head wear and clothes style and design show she belongs to the ethnic group called Flower Hmong, living on a mountainous region, near the border of Viet-Nam and China.
