I’m home. I just came back from Seoul, South Korea. Sorry I could not respond to messages in my previous journal. I just had no time. Every day was filled with fun activities to the brim. My trip was unexpectedly pleasant. Seoul is a very beautiful, clean and bustling city, surrounded by mountains and water. It is so picturesque. Since it was the beginning of fall, the weather was perfect. It was so cool and just right. Leaves started to turn colors and it was a beautiful sight.

Our hotel is in the heart of an artist town, amid so many art stores and galleries. Our days there were fully packed with lots of walking and running between subway stops. To my amazement, their subway system is very clean and always punctual. Even their buses are efficient and always a pleasant ride. The people, in the street and in stores, do not speak much English, but it was fun to discover things on our own. Their streets are lined up with restaurants and cafes. There are many nice little restaurants in the back streets which are always fully packed. It seems like people there like to go out to eat, even very late in the evening. I love hot and spicy food and Korean food is very tasty to us. In short, I had loads of fun.
